Thank you to all the participants for the booming success of the inaugural TechNeeds seminar. Robotic experts from federal agencies, national research laboratories, industry and academia gathered in Miami, FL, for a two-day seminar on May 3 and 4, 2017 to address the integration of robotic systems into hazardous work environments.

The seminar was organized and hosted by TechNeeds, a collaboration between FIU’s Applied Research Center (ARC) and the Waste Management Symposia (WM) and co-sponsored by the Energy Technology and Environmental Business Association (ETEBA) and MIRION Technologies. The goal of TechNeeds is to host highly focused seminars in which research and development needs are presented by representatives from the research, industry and academic communities.

Keep your eye on this space!

Future TechNeeds seminars are being planned to address other research and development needs relevant to DOE EM, other federal agencies and industry.
